Meet Founder, Head Coach & TD Manager Dan
My names Dan Mijovic and I am the founder and Head Coach of Pro Eleven Football Academy. A little intro about me, I have been passionate about football for as long as i can remember having started kicking the ball from a early age i was a late bloomer when it came to signing up for a club at the age of 9.
Whilst growing up from a early age I had the privilege of training and picking the Brain of my uncle Dusan 'Darcy' Purac who was a brilliant former professional player in Europe playing for Dinamo Zagreb, OFK Belgrade, Vojvodina where he was dubbed "The White Pele" back in Yugoslavia & Grasshopers in Switzerland before he came to Australia in 1980 to play & retiring then starting the Brazilian Soccer Coaching School later becoming Dusan Purac International Football Academy, this is where I had spent most my pre teen & teenage years learning my trade as well as beginning my coaching journey.
As local to Sydney I started out as a Wenty Waratah before I was able to develop my youth football with one of Australia's best Youth clubs at the time Parramatta Eagles (Melita). In my late teens I tried my hand at pro trials with FK Novi Sad in Serbia despite staying & obtaining a training contract & pro deal never eventuated. On my return to Australia i eventually played several years at Semi Professional Level in NSW Super League before settling in the local MWFA Premier League competition which allowed me to focus on my coaching career.
Since focusing on my coaching journey my passion and drive has been to help as many players i can develop into the best footballers they can become but also great people through all my experiences. The footballing knowledge from the 3 different Socceroo Coaches I was fortunate enough to be coached by, the skills and technical drills that my Uncles academy utilised to produce countless professionals as well as my own footballing journey to pass on the knowledge of what things I didn't do which made me fall short of a professional career allows me to help players gain invaluable knowledge in their sessions.
I believe every player is a UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL and that's exactly how i look to develop every one of my players as they become more then players they become part of our footballing family.

Meet Coach - Andy Higginson
Hello,
I am Andy and I begun my football pathway at narrabeen fc before moving on to manly united. After 7 years playing for Manly United I returned to Narrabeen FC. I turned my focus to coaching junior football and begun coaching & running the Narrabeen FC Academy in addition to Narrabeen Sports High School. I am really motivated to provide quality coaching to junior football of all levels and I feel that Pro Eleven is the best place to do that.

Meet Coach Rocky Giles
Rocky joined Pro Eleven Football over 12 months ago & has been involved in our skills development, girls academy programs as well as progressing into our Advanced Programs as a lead coach.
Rocky comes from extensive football experience with a playing background at Marconi Stallions during youth to senior years & also completing his AFC/FA C DIPLOMA recently.
Allowing him to share / coach through his experience & mould it within modern day coaching techniques!
On top of coaching at Pro Eleven Coach Rocky also leads the U12/1s + W18/1s at Narrabeen FC whilst also holding the role of president at the club

Meet Coach Gully Downs
Coach Gully our longest serving coach after Head Coaches Dan & Andy. Gully has been with us for 2 years now starting out as a Holiday Clinic coach before stepping into our Term Programs & now leading some of our advanced dev programs.
Gully is an AFC C Diploma accredited coach & outside of our Term programs also coaches at the Pro Eleven led Narrabeen Sports High School Football Development Academy Program as well coaching the U14/1s & U10 ALL STARS at Narrabeen FC
Which is also the club that he has played at for most his junior years making his Premier League First Grade debut last year at only 17yr old whilst having a starting debut for them in a 2-0 win in the @australiacup 2024 competition!

Meet Coach Marco Caterina
Coach Marco,
Marco although coaching for several years now he joined Pro Eleven 6 Months ago having started with our Skills Development Programs in 2023 & since has progressed to coaching our Girls & Boys Advanced Development Programs on top of the Skills Development Programs.
Marco has recently completed his AFC/FA C Diploma whilst also bringing his playing experience into his sessions also being part of Narrabeen FC Premier League Squad
Marco has a great rapport with all his players & always ensures that he is getting a great balance between able to getting important coaching points across whilst keeping the player engagement high in his sessions!
